Receipt Generator
Confirm a payment with a clear, professional receipt.
A receipt is proof that you received a payment. This free receipt maker shows what was paid for, the amount received and any balance still owed, so full and partial payments are both clear — then download it as a PDF.
Confirm a payment in a minute. The receipt shows the transaction total and the amount actually received, so part payments are clear.

When to give a receipt
Give a receipt whenever you’re paid — in full, as a deposit or in instalments. It’s the customer’s proof of payment and your record of income. An invoice asks for money; a receipt confirms it arrived.
Receipt questions
The total is the value of the goods or services. The amount received is what the customer paid now. If they paid part, the receipt shows the balance remaining; if they paid in full it is marked PAID.
Yes. Enter the amount actually received; the remaining balance is printed on the receipt.
It helps both sides match the payment to the invoice it settles, but it’s optional.
